The Lord Adds to His Church

BRO. SMITH: I wish to say to the brethren and sisters through the Review that the Lord is adding to his church such as shall be saved. We now have great reason to rejoice that the Lord gave us patience and decision of character to hold on to the third angel’s message so many lonely years. We have proved the Lord and found him faithful to peform all his promises. While we were shut out from the world like hundreds of the brethren and sisters, we were enabled by the help of the Lord to possess our souls in patience and now the Lord has helped us openly and given us nearly thirty to worship on the Lord’s Sabbath. Praise his holy name! The work is not yet finished here. Many are enquiring for the return of Bro Sanborn, and some others are ready to come into the truth when the church is set in order.
