A Plea to Overcome Lukewarmness

Bro. H. Miller writes: "When I think of the great troubles that are to come upon the wicked in these last days, I am led to ask myself, Shall I be able to stand? O that we may humble ourselves, that we may feel that of ourselves we can do nothing; and may God by his Spirit help us to lay hold of the promises set before us, and arise out of our lukewarmness before we are spued out.
"Dear brethren and sisters, pray for me and mine, that we may be commandment-keepers indeed, and stand with you, having the faith of Jesus, and at last be saved in his everlasting kingdom."
