AN OFFER.

ALEXANDER M. GRAVVEL, of Greenville, Mont. Co., Mich., offers to give the Seventh-day Adventist Publishing Association forty acres of pine timber land lying six miles north of Greenville, for his shares. He is now ready to give you a warranty deed in the manner you shall prescribe, from either corner of his 160 acre timber lot, bordering on Flat River. He says that he bought it nine years ago for the purpose of lumbering, at $6 per acre, and has made no use of it yet. JOSEPH BATES.
NOTE. This is indeed a very liberal offer. If we had the pine timber here now, we could use a part of it in the building. But such donations can be of little, if any, use just now, when means are most needed. We will try to find time to correspond with Bro. G. in regard to the matter.—ED.
