Bro. J. Baker writes from Cass, Ohio: "We as a church here in Cass, Ohio, do feel thankful to God that we have been organized, taking the name of Seventh-day Adventists, without a dissenting voice. There seems to be now but one determination to strive more earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints, and to make a more thorough work and entire consecration to God. We most solemnly believe that time is short; and we thank God that his promise is sure to all those that put their trust in him. He has promised to never leave them nor forsake them; therefore we have a hope of eternal life when the conflicts of this world shall cease."
