JOHN R. GOODENOUGH

From Bro. Goodenough.

BRO. WHITE: Once more I wish to write a few lines for the Review. Last winter I commenced a course of lectures in this place. The interest was good, and I gave forty discourses, and although there was great opposition, yet a few decided to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. I have visited the churches at Lodi and Hundred Mile Grove. There has been some opposition to organization there; but as far as I know it is all gone, and the church in this part of the State is striving to come into the unity of the faith. May the Lord hasten the time, is my prayer.
Yours striving to overcome.
