NOTE TO HENRY C. BLANCHARD.

WE wish to have nothing to do with the letter of B. D. Townsend, as he does not bear the reputation of a sound-minded christian. He has been reproved and labored with for his reckless fanaticism, and we think published in the Review as unworthy of christian confidence by the old, tried friends of the cause in the State where he lives, and has wandered from place to place with his disgusting novelties.
If any brother or sister wishes to make inquiries relative to the subject of spiritual gifts, we shall be happy to answer them through the Review, provided the questions are asked in the spirit of candor, and in a style that a brief reply will give light on the subject.
