Overcoming Through Tribulation

Sister S. A. Howard writes from West Bangor, N. Y: “My heart is with this people, both in sorrow and joy. O I am truly glad for what the Lord has done for me and my family. We are all united in trying to keep all the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. The Lord has done a great work for us; but I am aware there is a greater work to be done for us yet. But we are trying to overcome and gain the kingdom. God has been very merciful to us in sparing us while we have been so slow to learn and do his will. I have learned that tribulation worketh patience in the school of Christ. I will praise his holy name for his goodness, and will try to overcome.”
