Alien Earth

H. I. MORSE-FARNUM
LIKE chaff and grain, like snow and stain, Now good and evil dwell; But stars of night, a chorus bright, In demonstration tell Of land beyond, where, blessed bond Of brotherhood and peace! The sons of Light will reunite, And controversy cease.
As Jesus bowed to wear a shroud, And thus he conquered death, This alien clime is not the time Of triumph, but by faith. The conflict grows anear the close Of dark usurper's sway; From sin's long night, in rosy light Peereth the long-lost day.
