Our Quarterly-Meeting.

By B. F. Snook

THIS was a precious time. The neighboring churches turned out well, and as they came together the Lord met with us and gave us a good, melting, and happy time. A good impression was made upon the minds of the young, some of whom came out and were baptized. All together, eight were buried with Christ in baptism, and arose, we trust, to walk in newness of life. The occasion was solemn and impressive.

I am glad that we are waking up a little out here. The Lord is pouring blessings down in showers. The work is taking deeper hold, and the interest is spreading. May the Lord continue the work to our salvation.

In love and hope. B. F. SNOOK. Marion, Iowa.
