To THE CHURCHES AND BRETHREN OF THE N. Y. CONFERENCE: It becomes my duty to remind you that we have a Treasurer, whose first official duty is to receive your s. b. pledges to the state conference.

And now in view of the fact that our treasury is empty, it would be greatly for the interest of the cause to have our Treasurer enter at once upon his official duties. I see no good reason for your negligence, if you have adopted the plan of s. b., and are practicing the same. Brethren, send along your pledges immediately to our Treasurer, J. B. Lamson, Rochester, N. Y.

I would also say that there are a few churches that have not yet reported the amount of their pledges. Let this notice remind such of their immediate duty.
