From the Church in Charlotte. We feel as a church that we ought to be more sober and watchful unto prayer, in view of the appearing of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. We desire to have the messengers come and help us. We also feel to put our trust in God knowing that he will take care of his people. While we have had some losses we have had some additions to our little flock, for which we thank God and take courage. Our membership is as follows. During the year one has been removed by death, one by letter, and six disfellowshipped, and ten have been added to our church making our present number twenty-three. Amount of s. B. fund $57, E.
