THE great object of this system is, 1. To furnish means for the support of the ministry while they go and proclaim the last message of mercy to poor, perishing man. 2. To produce equality among the churches and scattered brethren, that some be not eased and others burdened. We would therefore respectfully call the attention of our brethren to Art. iii, Sec. 3, of the Constitution of our State Conference. As our present system has just been adopted, and there is nothing in the treasury, we would invite our churches and scattered brethren to send in their funds at their earliest convenience.
