Taking Mail on the Sabbath

A Correspondent inquires whether it is right to take mail from the post-office on the Sabbath. In some instances it might be justifiable, though when one case of this kind would occur, there would be fifty where it would be in our view wholly unjustifiable. We can set no stakes on this point. Be sure that you have an enlightend conscience, and then let that and the circumstances of the case decide the question.
