Quarterly Meeting in Monroe, Wis.
By Wm. S. Ingraham
Bro. WHITE: Our Quarterly Meeting in Monroe has just closed. It was the best meeting of the kind I ever enjoyed in the West. There were brethren present from Johnstown Center, Avon, Dayton, Mc Connell's Grove, and Crane's Grove. Five were received into the church and three were baptized. The people in Monroe gave us a good hearing and our house of worship was well filled. If the church in this place walk circumspectly, we look for an increase of numbers. I enjoyed good liberty in preaching the word. We hope to see you and Sr. W. in this vicinity once more. I am now getting ready to join Bro. Waggoner in Ohio.
