Meetings in Indiana.

Bro. White: My last report was from Jackson, Ind. I gave fourteen discourses in that place with but little seeming effect. There is a great re-action, and an element that is not as flattering as I could wish. Nevertheless there are some that love the truth. May the Lord help them to overcome.
Monday the 26th, I went to Salem. Found a little company of brethren united. Preached to them twice. Had a good time. The Lord be praised. From there I went to South Bend. Found one brother, and some half a dozen sisters trying to sustain meetings, holding them in private houses. I had one meeting with them there, and one three miles out; on the Sabbath the brethren were here from North Liberty. The blessing of the Lord was there. We had a good melting time. From there I came to this place. Have given three discourses, and shall remain here over next Sabbath and first day.
