Bro. White: As the days of pork and grease are passing away with us, I send you the following recipe for making soft soap.
Fourteen qts. soft water, one lb. good bar soap, one lb. salsoda. Boil till all is dissolved; cool; and it is fit for use. C. O. Taylor.
