God Hears Prayer.

Brethren and Sisters: I feel it a privilege to acknowledge through the Review the goodness of the Lord to me. It is well known by many that I have been suffering for years with disease of the heart. Last July it seemed to come upon me with double force, and increased until one week ago, when it seemed as if I must be laid in the grave. The church was therefore called upon to plead my cause before the Lord, and after following the rule laid down in his word, he answered the prayer of his children, and I arose from a bed of apparent death to bless and praise the Lord. One week has passed, and although overtaxed with cares in consequence of sickness in our family, yet have felt no return of this distressing affliction.
Well may I say, "What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits?" I desire to be wholly sanctified through the truth, and be a thorough worker in the vineyard of the Lord.
