DIED, at North Star, Gratiot Co. Mich., Sarah Barnes, the youngest daughter of Wm. Barnes, of the bloody-flux, October 8, 1865, aged 2 years and 10 months.

Also, Susan Barnes, the mother of Sarah Barnes, died of the same disease, October 10, aged 45 years, 10 months and 10 days. She leaves a husband and ten children to mourn her loss. She united with the church at Ithaca last winter at its organization. She gave good advice and encouraging words to those around her on her death-bed. She was sick fifteen days. She rests in hope, and we mourn their loss, but not as those who have no hope. 1 Thess. iv. 13
