2 Chronicles 27:1

Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.

Jotham was one of the good kings of Judah. His reign followed the wicked reigns of Ahaziah, Athaliah, Joash, and Amaziah, and the great reign of Uzziah. His reign belongs to the record showing that doing duty brought blessing, while departing from God brought strife, captivity, and loss.
