The throne seen above the cherubim in the expanse over their heads reveals a guiding hand set over all appointed agencies. That hand imposes perfect order upon their movements, so that nothing acts apart or at cross-purposes. It also produces harmonious cooperation among all their operations, uniting diverse instruments in one directed work. Order and harmony together show that every instrument functions under divine superintendence rather than by independent impulse.
