Ezra 5:1
Then the prophets, Haggai the prophet, and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophesied unto the Jews that were in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, even unto them. Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo prophesied in the name of the God of Israel to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem. Their prophesying delivered God's messages to renew courage and to rouse those Jews to resume building the temple. Under that prompting Zerubbabel and Joshua took the lead in beginning the building work again. As the work went forward amid opposition and uncertainty, the prophets stayed with the builders to help and encourage them.
