Micah 3:1
And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye princes of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment?
The call is directed to the heads of Jacob and the princes of the house of Israel, pressing upon them the question whether it is not for them to know judgment. It stands as part of Micah's warning of coming scenes of destruction and desolation, namely those scenes set forth in the first three chapters of his prophecy. Those scenes are to come soon and to be universal, belonging to the last days. They will shortly be witnessed just as plainly as described, as certainly as the desolation seen at San Francisco was seen. Therefore all are to be also ready, for the Son of man comes in such an hour as is not expected.
