Philippians 3:1
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.
The Lord Himself is the true source of peace and joy and victory. To rejoice in Him is therefore not common excitement but holy joy. It is a sanctified experience of the heart. That kind of rejoicing leaves no room for ambitious self-exaltation, since all the glory belongs to God. To write the same things again is no burden to the one giving the instruction, while for those who receive it the repetition is a safeguard.
