Psalms 93:1
The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. The Lord reigns, clothed with majesty and girded with strength. By that reign the world is firmly established by Him so that it is immovable and cannot be moved. The verses that follow show His throne established from ancient time, from of old, and Himself everlasting.
They further show Him mightier than floods and waves, His testimonies altogether reliable and sure, and holiness befitting His house forever. His rule is the sure foundation of the world, in contrast to selfish independence and the strife that comes from rejecting Christ's rule.
