The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
The Lord is living and He is reigning now. When people are pressured by others who try to bind them to unjust and cruel obligations, they are to stay on guard and refuse to be forced into compliance. They are not to give way to discouragement in the face of such coercion. The way will open before them, and light will come to them.
