Revelation 6 is full of meaning and reveals the terrible judgments of God. The opening of the first seal shows the Lord going forth to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity, when the earth shall disclose her blood and no more cover her slain. That opening moves toward the commissioning of the seven angels to whom seven trumpets are given and toward the final plagues. Those judgments include hail about the weight of a talent falling upon the wicked who would not care for and obey God but insulted Him and despised His mercies.
