Ăn'a-çĕph'a-læ-ō'sis (Synop., § 130), n. [Gr. ἀνακεφαλαίωσις, from ἀνακεφαλαιοῦν, to sum up, as at the close of a speech, from ἀνά, again, and κεφαλαιοῦν, to bring under heads, to sum up, from κεφαλή, head.] (Rhet.) A recapitulation of the heads of a discourse.
