Balancing Diet Choices with Practical Health Needs
Is your diet a test of faith or a practical path to nourishment?
I don't use meat or dairy because I crave it. I use these as I'm unable to cook full vegan meals.

It is wonderful that you are seeking to honor God with your body while navigating practical challenges in your kitchen! It is important to remember that the question of whether we eat butter, meat, or cheese is never to be presented as a test of our standing before God. The keeping of God’s holy law and the Sabbath remains the sign and test for His people.
When you are unable to prepare complex vegan meals, it is better to use simple, nutritious items like milk and eggs to ensure your system is properly nourished. In fact, some who have tried to abstain from these things prematurely have become weak and unable to work, which actually hinders the progress of health reform. We are encouraged to meet people where they are and provide instruction on how to prepare healthful, inexpensive alternatives before asking them to discard what they currently rely on.
While we know that animal products will eventually be discarded due to increasing disease in the animal kingdom, we are told not to bring ourselves into a "time of trouble" before the Lord prepares the way. God does not require you to take an extreme position that leads to a lack of nourishment. Instead, focus on a simple diet that makes the best blood and keeps your mind clear for spiritual things.
The invitation remains for you to delight in that which is good and trust that God will guide your transition at the right time Isaiah 55:2. Please do not feel discouraged as you work through these practical steps toward a healthier lifestyle! 🌟
