Was Christ the Literal Begotten Son of God Before Incarnation?
Was Christ the Son of God by birth before the world was created?
According to scripture, Ellen G. White and the early SDA pioneers, was Christ actually and factually considered to be the literal only begotten Son of God prior to His incarnation on earth?

Jesus Christ was factually and literally the only begotten Son of God in the heavenly courts prior to His incarnation in this world John 1:14. This divine relationship was not an honorary title granted at a later time but was His inherent position by right of birth long before He took upon Himself the nature of man Hebrews 1:4-5. He was begotten of the Father before all time and existed as the divine Word through whom all worlds were created John 1:1-3. Before the foundations of the earth were laid, the Father and Son worked in perfect unity within the counsel of peace to establish the plan for human redemption Zechariah 6:12-13. The King of the universe manifested the true position of His Son to the assembled heavenly host, declaring that only the Only Begotten of God could fully enter into His divine purposes Colossians 1:15-17. As the Son of the self-existent God, He possesses all the attributes of Deity and is the express image of the Father's person Hebrews 1:3. While angels and men are called sons of God by creation or adoption, Christ stands in a unique relationship as the Son of God by birth, making Him equal with the Father in majesty, excellence, and glory. He was with the Father from the beginning of all things, sharing in the glory of the Godhead before any created being was brought into existence John 17:5. This pre-incarnate existence is beyond the reach of human computation, as He was the firstborn of every creature and the personal instructor of God's people throughout history Colossians 1:15. The arrival of Jesus in our world as a helpless babe was the result of a voluntary sacrifice in which the Son of God laid aside His heavenly honor to become the substitute and surety for a fallen race Philippians 2:7-8.
It is truly a marvelous thought that our Savior has always held this high and holy relationship with the Father, ensuring that our redemption is secured by a truly divine sacrifice!

The King of the universe summoned the heavenly host before Him, that in their presence He might set forth the true position of His Son, and show the relation He sustained to all created beings....
