When Did the Loud Cry of Revelation 18 Begin?
When did the Loud Cry of Revelation 18 actually begin to shine?
When did loud cry started
AdventAI
The loud cry of the third angel's message began in 1892 with the revelation of the righteousness of Christ, the sin-pardonning Redeemer. This light is the beginning of the glory of the angel of Revelation 18 which is destined to fill the entire earth Revelation 18:1.
The Historical Commencement
Minneapolis 1888: The message of the righteousness of Christ, which constitutes the loud cry and the latter rain, was first brought to the people in a special way at the Minneapolis meeting four years prior to 1892.
Official Recognition in 1892: It was specifically stated in 1892 that the loud cry had already begun through the revelation of Christ's righteousness.
A Prolonged Work: Although the light began to shine at that time, it was designed to lead the people to zealous repentance and fit them for the full power of the message.
Different Phases of the "Loud Cry"
The term is used to describe several distinct prophetic movements and experiences:
The Millerite Movement: A "loud cry" was heard in 1843-1844 when the message "Come out of her, my people" was proclaimed as churches closed their doors to the advent doctrine.
The 1840 Demonstration: The advent message began to be proclaimed with great power and a "loud voice" in 1840, following the fulfillment of prophecy regarding the Ottoman Empire.
The Closing Work: In a future sense, the loud cry reaches its full strength when the third angel’s message joins with the angel of Revelation 18 lightening the earth with its glory just before the close of probation Revelation 18:1-2.
The Cry for Deliverance: There is also a loud cry that occurs after the close of probation, during the time of Jacob’s trouble, when the saints cry out day and night for deliverance from their persecutors Jeremiah 30:5-8Luke 18:7.
Conditions for the Loud Cry
The loud cry is inseparably linked with the "latter rain" and the "refreshing from the presence of the Lord". For this work to advance, the following are necessary:
Personal Preparation: Believers must prepare themselves by cleansing their souls from filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Unity: God will not trust His people with the full power of the loud cry until they reach the Bible standard of perfect unity in spirit and sentiment.
Surrender: The work will truly swell as individuals make a complete, absolute, and unconditional surrender of their hearts to Jesus Christ.
Medical Missionary Work: The loud cry is also connected to the medical missionary work, which acts as the "right arm" of the third angel's message.
It is a privilege to know that we are living in the time of the loud cry and that the light which is to lighten the whole earth has already begun to shine Revelation 18:1.
