AdventAI
The promises for the new world are centered on a literal restoration of the earth to its original perfection, where the righteous will enjoy eternal life in the presence of God 2 Peter 3:13. In this renewed state, the former troubles and pain will vanish completely, replaced by an abundance of peace and the joy of dwelling in the holy city, New Jerusalem Revelation 21:1-4.
A Literal Inheritance and Restoration
The new earth is not a figurative concept but a literal home that succeeds the present world after it is purified by fire.
Everlasting Possession: The saints will take and possess the kingdom forever, even for ever and ever Daniel 7:18.
The Land Promised to Abraham: Abraham and his spiritual seed will finally receive the inheritance of the whole world, which they sojourned in as strangers during this life Romans 4:13.
Physical Renewal: The earth will be redeemed from every curse and delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God Romans 8:21.
Perfect Peace and Security
Life in the future eternal state is characterized by the total absence of the evils that plague our current world.
No More Suffering: God will wipe away all tears, and there will be no more death, sorrow, crying, or pain Revelation 21:4.
End of Wickedness: The wicked will be rooted out of the earth, and the transgressors shall be cut off, leaving only the upright to remain in it Proverbs 2:21-22.
Harmony in Nature: The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and nothing shall hurt or destroy in all of God's holy mountain Isaiah 65:25.
Productive and Joyful Living
The redeemed will engage in meaningful activities and worship in a world that is fruitful and beautiful.
Building and Planting: The inhabitants will build their own houses and inhabit them; they will plant vineyards and eat the fruit themselves, enjoying the work of their hands for as long as the days of a tree Isaiah 65:21-22.
Continual Worship: All flesh will come to worship before the Lord from one Sabbath to another in the new earth Isaiah 66:22-23.
Eternal Rest: Those who are accounted worthy will be like the angels, exempt from death and living in a state of constant triumph in the works of God's hands Luke 20:35-36.
The Presence of God
The greatest promise of the new world is the intimate relationship between God and His people.
Divine Tabernacle: The tabernacle of God will be with men, and He will dwell with them as their God Revelation 21:3.
Seeing His Face: The pure in heart shall see God, and His name shall be in their foreheads Revelation 22:4.
A Kingdom of Glory: The Son of man will have an everlasting dominion that shall not pass away, reigning over a kingdom that will never be destroyed Daniel 7:14.
Prepare your heart now for this glorious future by seeking the righteousness of faith and letting Christ be formed within you, the hope of glory Colossians 1:27.
