The Role of Prophecy Before the Close of Probation
Will a prophetic voice guide the church before probation closes?
will there be a prophetic voice in the church just before the close coffee probation
AdventAI
The gift of prophecy will be active and prominent within the church until the close of probation to guide, unify, and prepare God's people for the final events of earth's history.
🎺 The Role of Prophecy in the Last Days
The presence of a prophetic voice is a defining characteristic of the remnant church as it prepares for the second advent. Scripture promises that in the last days, the Spirit will be poured out on all flesh, resulting in sons and daughters prophesying Joel 2:28-29Acts 2:17-18. This gift is essential for the church's spiritual journey until the restitution of all things.
Guidance and Protection: The gift of prophecy and the law of God go hand in hand to counsel the church, ensuring believers are not left to guess whether a manifestation is from heaven or evil spirits.
Unity of the Faith: This gift is given for the perfecting of the saints and to bring the body of Christ into the unity of the faith.
A Warning Voice: Just as John the Baptist was a prophetic voice preparing the way for Christ's first coming, a similar work is required to awaken souls for the close of probation and the day of the Lord.
⏳ Events Preceding the Close of Probation
As the time of the end approaches, the prophetic voice becomes increasingly vital to distinguish truth from the deceptions of the enemy.
The Loud Cry: Before probation closes, the third angel's message will be proclaimed with a loud voice and increasing power. This message is accompanied by the "latter rain," where the Holy Spirit is poured out in great measure, illuminating the earth with God's glory Revelation 18:1.
Counterfeit Manifestations: Just before the close of probation, there will be fanatical excitements and "uncouth" demonstrations involving noise and confusion that are falsely attributed to the Holy Spirit.
Sealing of the Saints: During this time, the prophetic gift directs minds to the investigative judgment where the cases of the living are decided and the servants of God are sealed in their foreheads Revelation 7:3.
🕊️ Persistence of the Gift
The need for prophetic light continues as long as probationary time lasts. It is the means by which Christ communicates to His people while He performs His final intercessory work in the heavenly sanctuary. Once the work of the mediator is finished, the decree will go forth marking the final withdrawal of mercy's offer Revelation 22:11-12. Therefore, it is a high privilege to cherish and study the prophetic messages provided for this solemn time 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21.
