DIED, in Alma, Mich., March 29, 1866, sister Phebe Clark, aged 52 years, and 17 days. She embraced the truth under the labors of Brn. Canright and Van Horn while they were in Alma with the tent, and united with the church when first organized here. It was cheering to the Christian to witness with what fortitude, meekness, and patience, she was enabled to bear her severe and protracted illness, ever ready to praise God that she had been permitted to hear the sound of the third angel’s message. “Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth; yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.” JAMES GARGETT.
DIED, in Monterey, Mich., April 17, 1866, of consumption of the bowels, Willie, son of John and Isabella Francisco, aged two years. JOSEPH BATES.
