I WAS sorry to be disappointed in not being able to meet with the church in Charlotte, as appointed. While preparing to go I received a call home, my oldest son having been "sun struck." Though severely and dangerously stricken he is now doing well at the Institute. Bro. Gage filled my appointment, and as we are both employed in the office, and had to be absent several days, it has placed our work in a crowded state. We ask the kind consideration of our friends in behalf of our labors under these circumstances.
