CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

NOW A MONTHLY

Beginning with the November number, Christian Education will be issued monthly each year from September to June—the usual period for educational journals. This year, it will run until July. This change has been made in response to repeated and urgent requests from our readers ever since the magazine was first issued. While it will be reduced in size to thirty-two pages, the more frequent issue makes possible much better service to the schools, and prepares the way to give it a more general circulation INTO THE HOME. The home and the school must work hand in hand. We can not talk about education without including the home. Our Home Education department can now be strengthened, and we want every parent and occupant of the home to join us in upbuilding the interests of education by making this journal a monthly visitor to as many Christian homes as possible.

SPECIAL: Until Feb. 1, 1913, we will extend any present subscriber’s time four months for every two new subscriptions sent in at $1.00 each. By this plan one may extend his subscription as far as he may choose.
TIME OF PRESENT TERM The present term for 1912-13 begins with the September-October number, 1912, and ends with the July number, 1913 — ten issues in all.
TREBLE OUR LIST To aid us in meeting the increased expense of raising our journal to a monthly, we want to treble our list within the next three months. This can easily be done if we carry the campaign into the home. This should be done, for THIS JOURNAL WILL BE AS MUCH FOR THE HOME AS FOR THE SCHOOL. If every one now on the list will secure two new names, our list will be trebled.
THE NOVEMBER NUMBER READY The first issue of Christian Education as a monthly will be, if read, of far more value to every parent than the price of the journal for a full term.
