Life and Health for March

INTEMPERANCE AND TUBERCULOSIS, the two principal death-dealing agencies of the present time, are the special topics of the March number.
In addition to exposing the ravages of intemperance through the agency of alcohol, a broad application of the principles of temperance is made. True temperance is shown to include the rejection of things hurtful, and the proper use of the beneficial.
Dr. Knopf, the tuberculosis expert, and others, give directions for the prevention and cure of tuberculosis and other diseases, in harmony with the principles of true temperance.

The entire number is, therefore, devoted to the broad question of temperance. It is practical and of great importance. The general public will be easily interested in it. It is a good-selling number, and our workers will be able to materially raise their average sales.
