Hearing on Sunday Legislation

On page 19 of this issue will be found a comprehensive report of the hearing before the subcommittee of the Senate District Committee on the Sunday bills introduced into the Senate during this session. Since this hearing the chairman of the Senate District Committee reported to the Senate that he had received hundreds of telegrams and many letters protesting against the proposed Sunday legislation. These were referred to the Committee on the District of Columbia, together with many letters and a number of telegrams received by Senator Scott.
