MR. J. B. IRISH, late of Iowa, has purchased a half interest in the Oakland Times, and taken editorial control of the paper. Mr. Irish comes to this city with a well-established reputation as a journalist and a politician. In his hands the Times becomes a Democratic paper. Each party has now a representative paper in Oakland.
