Story of Daniel the Prophet

THIRD edition, beautifully illustrated with full-page half-tone engravings.
One who desires to master the philosophy of an acceptable Christian life, and the means and methods by which a close connection with God may be maintained, can find no more competent text-book than is furnished in the record of the experiences of the prophet Daniel. If you would acquire a vivid sense of God's care for his people, and his constant remembrance of them, and the easy means he makes use of to accomplish his ends, you will find the subject fully exploited in the prophecy of Daniel.
An interesting book, because it tells the simple story.
A remarkable feature of this book is an appendix of nearly one hundred pages, containing a chart with Bible references on the principal points of present truth, the whole focusing in the sanctuary question; also short Bible readings on the Second Coming of Christ, Millennium, the New Earth, the Law of God, the Sabbath, Repentance, Fate of the Wicked, Christian Help Work, Spiritual Gifts, Christian Education, Ministration of Angels, Baptism, Dress Reform, the Judgment, Lord's Supper, Righteousness by Faith, Health Reform, Life Only in Christ, Tithing, Church Order.
Do you remember what you read? Turn to the appendix of this book and you will find questions on each chapter, calling forth the leading points therein, and thus establishing them in your memory. Over 2,300 questions in all.
From the Index of Marginal References and General Index, comprising some twenty-five pages, a storehouse of valuable information is always at the command of the reader.
There is no other book like it.
Neatly bound in cloth, postpaid, $1.

By Land and Sea

IN every young heart there is a desire to see the world. While this is proper, it is beyond the reach of many; and to see and appreciate the wonderful things in the different parts of the world, one needs to study beforehand the scenes and places of interest. With “Travels by Land and Sea” in one's possession, a truthful and accurate description can be secured of many of the places of interest in the different lands on our globe, which people spend many dollars in traveling to see.
Our church schools can gather from this excellent book much profitable information in connection with their geography study.
Price, postpaid, $1.50.
“I do not see why this book should not have a large sale, now that the price is reduced. This will enable thousands to secure it who felt hardly able to purchase it when it was sold as a subscription book. It certainly will make a fine addition to a library; and it is a book that will be very instructive for our young people, especially in studying the different missionary fields. We will do all we can to circulate it. “SECRETARY OF WISCONSIN TRACT SOCIETY.”
