Predicted Celestial and Terrestrial Phenomena
PROF. DELISSER declares that a series of celestial and terrestrial phenomena are close at hand. He says on the night of Feb. 27, in the western heavens there was a conjunction of the moon with Jupiter and Venus, and three nights later Jupiter passed Venus by only 23 seconds of a degree. The result of these conjunctions and perturbations will be atmospheric commotion, electric discharges, heavy gales and high tides, with a succession, through the remainder of the year, of the unpleasant terrestrial agitations which has recently taken place in the West Indies. With vast inundations, volcanic eruptions and hurricanes and upakings of the earth, what a sensation is in store for us.
