Hymn of Adoration.

O Thou to whom we pay our adoration, Before whom all should bow in every station, We crave, O Thou, Most High, thine approbation, And contrite hearts now offer their oblation.
For all our sins we feel a deep contrition, We pray thee now to grant us free remission; We bow unto thy will in glad submission; Into the earth made new we pray admission.
Vain were our offerings if thou didst not love us. We are but earthy, thou art far above us. When from the paths of peace our sins removed us, In tenderest mercy thou hast then reproved us.
Father in Heaven, hear our supplication; List to our sad hearts crying for salvation; Extend thy mercy to our generation, And give us rest with all thy righteous nation.
