HYPERACID STOMACH

“I have what the doctors tell me is a hyperacid stomach. I am told I should eat meat; have tried it, and find it gives me relief, but I prefer not to use it.”
Yes, probably you have a hyperacid stomach, but you do not have to eat meat. You can take milk in its various forms, and, if you wish, you can eat eggs; but I prefer in such cases to depend largely upon milk.
You should limit the amount of grains and cereals that you eat,—breads, breakfast foods, and the like, and in fact all foods in which you use flour or grains. Use more largely of butter or butter substitute, olive oil, or salad oil, with your food. You can take some of your oil in the form of mayonnaise dressing, if you wish.
I am sending you diet directions for hyperacid stomach, and I am also giving directions for making mayonnaise.
