Marvel of Nations

In the German, Danish, and Swedish Languages

These books were completed and ready for delivery on May 1st, according to promise. The Review and Herald turned away other work in order to bring these books out at the appointed time. The Editor of the Sions Väktare, the Swedish paper, says this is one of the finest books in the Swedish language, in both construction and contents. The German and Danish editions are also of a high grade, both in mechanical construction and in the translation. Our foreign laborers can be assured that these books rank high among American translations, and the subject matter, being of great importance, and providentially interwoven with the history of this country, renders these books interesting and attractive to our American people, and especially so to those who have recently come to this country, and who desire to know more of the history of the nation. These two important favorable qualities, excellence in construction and containing the message for this time, cause this book in all these languages to stand on an equality in importance with any book issued by this denomination.
The foreign people in America have never had the privilege of reading the prophetic history of this nation in their own languages, and as the Biblical future of this nation is associated with its early and present history, and as all people in this country are easily interested in the prosperity and growth of this nation, it is a very easy matter to solicit their attention to this message-bearing volume.
Strong, consecrated men are needed to solicit for these foreign books while they are new. Who will respond to this need?
The prospectus for each of these languages is composed of a full book in the English language, with sample leaves of the foreign languages tipped in. This prospectus sells for 60 cents, postpaid. The book retails at $1.25 and $1.50 in all the languages.
