Obituary of Sr. Sally White

Died in Oasis, Waushara county, Wis., April 12, 1878, at the residence of her daughter, Sr. Sally White, aged 77 years, 10 months, and 5 days. Sr. White was converted to the S. D. Adventist faith in 1872 when she heard, for the first time, the teachings of the third angel's message under the labors of Elds. Sanborn and Downer. Her whole hope was in the first resurrection. Although her sufferings were great, she bore them with Christian fortitude. She leaves four children to mourn the loss of a kind mother. Funeral sermon by Eld. Palmer, Baptist. M. J. Griffith.
