Evangelistic Work in Santa Ana

California

SANTA ANA.—I held the first meeting last night in the Grand Opera-house. The opera-house, which will accommodate one thousand people, was filled. I realize that the time has come to make a bold attack upon the strongholds of Satan, and I have rented the Grand Opera-house for two months. Instead of the foolish songs of the world there will be heard the solemn truths of the last warning message. While our expenses are high, the Lord has sent us money as it was needed, so that we have not had to call upon the conference to pay a dollar of expense for the last three years. We are expecting the Lord to do great things for us in Santa Ana. Brethren, pray for us.
Wm. Simpson.
