The Soul’s Summer

By Wayland Hoyt

In the winter the earth has swung itself out of the sun's direct rays, and the birds vanish, and the beauty dies. But when the earth again rolls into straighter companionship with the sun, all the glory of the summer is the result. Self-surrendering companionship with Jesus makes the soul's summer. All transforming ability and various graciousness is in that companionship.—Wayland Hoyt.
