GEN. CONF. COM

The arrangement of the camp-meetings as given above seems to be the best we can make. It has been perplexing to decide upon the time when these meetings should be held; because there are certain times in the season when the farming community can better attend than in others, and in different States these may come together. And we have not the laborers of the proper gifts to spare to have several camp-meetings going on at once. The change in the Illinois meeting was made at the request of the President of that Conference, Eld. R. F. Andrews, who represents that many of the farmers could not attend at the time previously given. We hope the present arrangement will better accommodate the people, and that in all these meetings there will be a general gathering of the friends of the cause, and that great good may result.
