To the Churches in Vermont.

Our camp-meeting and our annual Conference session for this State are forth-coming. Only about two weeks more to the time when they shall commence. Until then all will be on the move. Numerous things must be accomplished before many of the brethren and sisters will be in readiness to attend this meeting. Hope that in our hurry we will not neglect things of weightier matter which should be attended to preparatory to this meeting. Allow me to call attention to a few points.
1. All the churches should arrange to represent themselves by Delegates at this Conference.
2. Reports should be made as required by the Constitution of our Conference. The church clerks have two kinds of blanks for this purpose, one, a report of the standing of the church, and the other, a financial report and pledge of the church.
3. Systematic Benevolence should be paid up to the close of the second quarter of the present year. Yet some may not do this, hence,
4. Let the church clerks make a statement of the amounts due on S. B. up to July 1, 1872, in their financial reports.
5. Let none stay away from this meeting because they cannot bring tents with them; for an arrangement has been made to have tents on the camp-ground to rent, or to sell.
6. Come to this meeting praying that God may meet with us by his Spirit, and that we may have a “feast of tabernacles” in the Lord.
