A LOST DAY.

The day on which a Christian has done nothing really for Christ may truly be described as “a lost day.” In order to have no more such blanks in my life, when no opportunity occurs for personal work for our Master, I make an extra offering, according to my means, to the missionary box. It is pleasant to have some act of service to present to him each evening before we lie down to rest. If all your readers would adopt this plan, there should have no “barren tree” among us, and the fruits of Christian love would multiply to the glory of God.—Correspondent of Church Missionary Gleaner.
