EDITOR REVIEW AND HERALD: To the good article in a recent number of the REVIEW, concerning care of the hair, might be added this suggestion: Wear a dusting-cap when working in a dusty room. It is a case of prevention versus cure. Also avoid wetting the hair, except for the purpose of cleaning the scalp, and you will thereby escape much dust which would cling to damp hair. Water is not needed to make the hair smooth; in fact, its result is largely the opposite. The natural oil of the hair, if encouraged by brushing, and not discouraged by substitutes, or drowned out, will suffice.
